NON-HATRED (LOVE)
The next intention is non-hatred. Its positive complement is the intention to love, have goodwill, or be compassionate. Hatred is a process that arises in direct relationship to craving. When the craving for digital objects is not satisfied, hatred arises to target the obstacle to satisfaction. Hatred is one state of dissatisfaction and suffering that comes from craving. By making an intention to cultivate non-hatred, we let go of the habit of resisting frustration of craving with negative emotion. By having the intention to cultivate love, goodwill, and compassion in our digital interactions, we create an environment in which hatred struggles to thrive.Â
