THE THIRD TRUTH
The third truth of awakening to the reality of the internet is this: There is an end to the dissatisfaction, and that end comes with the cessation of craving for permanence, completion of self, and ultimate satisfaction in the internet.
By letting go of the belief that we can be completed and fully satisfied in some way by the internet, we let go of the craving for completion in the internet, and by letting go of this craving we liberate ourselves from the dissatisfaction that interacting with the internet brings.
Take a moment to stop the motion of craving, the constant movement to the next thing, the drive to resolution and completion. At first you will notice uneasiness and dissatisfaction, but if you sit for long enough you will recognize a state of peace in letting go of the addictive motion. This is a state of peace that doesn't require anything else, that doesn't need to be completed. This is what it is like to be liberated from craving for completion in the internet.
If this peace speaks to you, the next question is: If I want to fully experience the equanimity of not craving for the internet and its digital counterparts, if I truly want to be liberated, how do I do it?
